Common Core Math

Along with learning the required content in math it is important for students to have the skills to solve problems, apply the concepts to real world situations, work together collaboratively and present their ideas. While students are more comfortable with their daily skills practice, pushing them to think deeper in problem solving will better prepare them.  Students need opportunities to make mistakes, run into problems and persevere through them using a number of strategies.
